The doors closed, the tools went quiet, and the molds were left without a home. This particular Cascade may be one of the last ones ever built.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn fact, this boat was \u003cstrong\u003e95% completed when the company shut down\u003c\/strong\u003e. The only missing step is the signature bottom coating ADKC normally applied. If you didn’t know it was supposed to be there, you’d never notice — and that coating also adds a couple of pounds, so this one is actually a touch lighter than standard.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor now, this canoe stands as a \u003cstrong\u003eone‑of‑a‑kind piece of Adirondack canoe‑building history\u003c\/strong\u003e.
