We’ve had this boat for a couple of years, and it comes with a story.
It was originally special ordered by a school in Washington State, but we couldn’t get it to them at a reasonable shipping cost within their deadline. Since then, Wilderness Systems discontinued the Polaris 180T — which means tandems in this price range are getting harder to find and will be worth real money someday.
It’s a shame, because these boats have a real history. We’ve sold these boats to expeditions heading to Antarctica, couples paddling around Nova Scotia, and teams taking on big-water adventures. The Polaris is a true expedition tandem: fast, stable, and built for people who travel together with plenty of room for gear.
This one is brand‑new, still in its original wrapper, and ready for a team who will put it to good use. We’re offering it at a greatly reduced price because it deserves a loving home, not more time in storage.
