Discover paddling ultralight with Slipstream Watercraft! Most models are literally light enough to lift with two fingers. Imagine the possibilities - simple to load and unload. Pack into previously unthinkable remote spots. Get to and from the water's edge with ease. Slipstream's founders started building canoes and kayaks in the early 1970s and possess more than a hundred years of paddlesport experience between them. As whitewater racers, they built their own boats and won multiple medals at various Whitewater National Championships. Soon, more and more racers wanted their boats. Ultimately, many members of the US National Team paddled their boats winning five Gold Medals and several Silver Medals at the Whitewater World Championships. The owners learned how to build boats extremely light yet strong enough to cope with World Championship whitewater challenges. That practical experience is manifest in every Slipstream watercraft.
