THE NAKED BEE

The Naked Bee take a science-based approach to developing our products using natural and organic ingredients in balance with other high-quality ingredients chosen based on their overall safety and performance.  For example, our lip balm is made with organic olive oil and beeswax; however, we also use other ingredients we consider "good stuff," whether natural, organic or not. For instance, depending on the application, we intentionally use a more effective preservative than less effective "natural" preservatives used by some other brands. We believe giving back is important, and as we grow, we are committed to doing our part to help make this world a better place. We started our "Operation Pollination" program and website (operationpollination.com) to bring awareness to the plight of the bees. Through the website, visitors can order wildflower seeds free to plant in their gardens to "Feed the Bees" whether they buy our Naked Bee products or not. Our marketing team also began a program to help educate elementary school students and provide content on the importance of bees as an integral part of and connection to the world around us.
