Its 3D design raises the thickness to 4.6 inches (11.7 cm), making it ideal for side sleepers. The vertical sidewalls connect the top and bottom layers, removing the tapered edges found on traditional pads. This adds 20% more sleeping space and provides great stability, so you won’t feel like you’re sliding off as you find your perfect position.

The NeoLoft’s outer layer features a soft stretch knit fabric—making it the first air pad to use this kind of material. Unlike the usual nylon found in backpacking pads, stretch knit offers multi-directional stretch and feels much gentler against your skin. This helps the pad mold to your body better, reducing pressure points for a more comfortable sleep. Inside, the ContourCore Matrix™ is at the heart of its performance, using rows of triangular chambers to keep you warm by cutting down heat loss. Plus, ThermaCapture™ reflects your body heat back to you, providing an impressive all-season R-value of 4.7. Large side chambers inflate into rails that guide your body toward the center, so you won’t accidentally roll off during the night.

The NeoLoft comes equipped with the TwinLock™ Valve System, designed with two valves for easy use. One valve lets air in quickly with a one-way flow, while the other lets you release air fast when it’s time to pack up. Combined with a high-volume, seam-sealed pump sack, inflating and deflating the NeoLoft is quick and hassle-free.
