Fox Outdoor Products has been a direct importer and distributor of outdoor gear since 1982. Our company, based in suburban Chicago, dates back to World War II. Fox recognized a niche market for selling surplus goods to retail locations across the country at that time. This company was able to tap the overseas market and establish direct import relationships with businesses in Asia, Europe, India, and elsewhere in response to dwindling surplus goods after the war. These suppliers produced a wide range of basic camping, sporting, and other outdoor equipment. Based in Chicago, Illinois, we design all of our gear from the ground up and rigorously field test them for the harshest conditions.
